We had the most magnificent weather for our visit, beautiful light and not too hot

We followed the Momijigari Trail - the tradition of visiting places that are brimming with red leaves in autumn.  Unfortunately it was too early for a great display of colour

We had Katsu curry at the Orangery.  It is a variation of Japanese curry with a chicken cutlet on top.   Chicken cutlet (Japanese version of chicken schnitzel) brings the Japanese curry up to the next level. It’s so delicious.   Comments from a Japanese cook.
