Pictures by Ian Duffield, Peter and Helen Cullens who visited in July with Marilyn, who did not take any pictures.   The  weather was beautiful apart from a showery quarter of an hour

Ian was trying out his Canon Eos 50D and a Sigma APO 150-500 mm f5 - 6.3 DG OS HSM.   Ian also took pictures with his Lumix.    Helen had lost automatic focussing on her camera and was trying to control a long lens with manual focus alone:  Peter had no problems...

We all enjoyed the flamingos, they were able to take up seemingly impossible poses.

The meerkats were anxiously looking out for trouble.

Red river hog - Found in Guinean and Congolian rainforests, prefering areas near rivers or swamps. - PJC

The baby elephant was born on the day we visited.   It was dark in the shed so the quality is rough. - PJC
