Marilyn and Ian Duffield visited Whipsnade on Wednesday 19th August.   They had signed up as friends of ZSL and had to go over to collect their pass cards.   As the weather for Wednesday was promising they needed to go then.   They weren't disappointed as it remained sunny and hot all day.  

Most of these shots were taken on a Canon EOS50D with a Sigma 150-500 zoom lens which converts to 225-750 on the 50D.   A few of the shots were taken with an EOS 5D Mark 2 and a 70-200 Canon zoom lens.
