Old loop of the New River cut 1608-13 through Whitewebbs Park, Forty Hill Park, and the grounds of Myddleton House.   It was cut off by the construction of the Docwra Aqueduct and embankment in 1855, and appears not to have been widened.   It runs broadly from TQ33859918 to TQ32309938, then back to TQ33339838.   The channel survives more or less continuously as a linear earthwork, although the condition varies.
